Medical Furniture

Our involvement in the medical furniture sector began nearly ten years ago when we were asked to design and manufacture Consulting Room examination couches with their own built in storage. The traditional void under an exam couch is all but filled in with valuable cupboard and drawer space. The unit castors ensure the cabinetry is high enough to avoid the clinicians' feet and totally mobile for all-round cleaning.

From the first installation in Stotfold in Bedfordshire our couches have been sold the length and breadth of Britain. Originally static now mobile and most recently we have completed the development of a storage couch height adjustable by remote control. The unit is raised and lowered silently and remotely by a pair of synchronised actuators and an additional actuator will raise and lower the couch head. The couch step is now redundant. Furthermore the two (clinical and clerical) waste bins traditionally cluttering up consulting room floors are accommodated within the unit. A much cleaner and safer environment.
